Cryptocoryne undulata is a hardy and visually appealing freshwater aquarium plant known for its wavy, undulating leaves and compact growth habit. Its unique leaf texture adds a natural, flowing look to aquascapes, making it ideal for midground or foreground planting.

Cryptocoryne Undulata grows in a rosette formation, producing narrow, slightly ruffled leaves that can range from bright green to deeper green shades depending on lighting and water conditions. Over time, it spreads slowly through runners, forming small clumps that create a lush, natural carpet effect in suitable areas of the tank.

This plant is easy to care for and adapts well to a variety of freshwater conditions. Like other Cryptocoryne species, it may experience temporary leaf die-back, known as “crypt melt,” when first introduced, but it recovers as it acclimates to the tank.
