Sakura Grade Cherry Shrimp
Sakura Cherry Shrimp is a mid- to high-grade freshwater dwarf shrimp known for its strong, solid red coloration. It is a selectively bred variety of the species Neocaridina davidi and is a higher color grade than standard cherry shrimp.
This shrimp typically grows to about 2–3 cm (around 1 inch) in length and has a slender body with a smooth, segmented shell. Its main feature is its bright red color that covers most of the body, though some lighter or slightly transparent areas may still be visible, especially on the legs or underside.
Sakura Grade Cherry Shrimp are peaceful, active scavengers that spend much of their time grazing on algae, biofilm, and tiny food particles on plants, rocks, and aquarium surfaces. Their vivid color, hardy nature, and easy care make them a popular choice for freshwater aquariums and planted shrimp tanks.
